Located on the south-east coast, on the side of the Tasman Sea, it was reported to have reached the population of 4.6 million people in its metropolitan area alone. The Sydney people call themselves as “Sydneysiders” and are composed of multinational people.
Established in the year 1788 at Sydney Cove, this now one of the most influential cities. It was built on hills that surrounded Port Jackson, more popularly known as Sydney Harbour. This area is the home of the Sydney Opera House, its main landmark. Meanwhile, the outskirts of town are built with bays, rivers, inlets and beaches, the most famous of which is the Bondi and Manly beach. In the town proper, some of the most popular attractions are the Hyde Park and Royal Botanic Gardens.
